Originally an ax handle factory and later a brewery, NuFarm’s Chicago Heights facility is steeped in history.

Founded in 1956 in Melbourne, Australia, as a supplier of phenoxy herbicides, NuFarm expanded to the U.S., establishing a site in Alsip, IL, in 2013, followed by the Chicago Heights location.


To preserve the character of this historic structure, RestoreWorks provided expert masonry restoration, including:
