When our company was established in 1988 as Midwest Pressure Washing and Restoration, Inc., we serviced Northwest Indiana businesses and residences by pressure washing semi-trailers, storefronts, sidewalks, and siding. Midwest began as a one-man operation pulling a trailer that said, “We Clean Anything.” We gradually and consistently added key talented, hard-working personnel as we began securing and performing increasingly challenging projects.
Today, as a key contributor in the masonry restoration industry, we have extended our reach outside the Midwest region, offering services beyond pressure washing, such as interior restorative cleaning, tuckpointing, caulking, and all other types of masonry repairs.

Throughout this growth, we have had the opportunity to work on such landmark buildings as the Art Institute of Chicago, the Wrigley Building, Duke University’s Memorial Chapel, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Unity Temple, Chicago Navy Pier, and various projects at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago.
The growth and development we have experienced throughout our 30+ years in business influenced our decision to adopt RestoreWorks as our company name. In selecting RestoreWorks, we were conscious of choosing a name that communicates our passion for restoring and preserving architecture so that can be enjoyed for generations to come.
In 2022, we had the opportunity to acquire the assets of Eugene Matthews, Inc., a long-time client of RestoreWorks. As the Eugene Matthews founders moved toward retirement, they sought a suitor who was familiar with their business, clients, and could provide a consistently high level of service. We are honored to take on this responsibility.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you. We look forward to maintaining our pattern of growth, and to continue providing superior quality and value to our valued customers.
If you have questions about our services or any of the projects we’ve completed, we invite you to call us at 312-666-4646 or 219-924-9700 for a personalized consultation, or you can request information with our online form.
The Chicago metropolitan area including Northwest Indiana comprise the vast majority of our service area.
We have also had the opportunity to take on projects in distant locations including Oahu, Hawaii, New York City, and Houston, Texas.
In these cases, our clients chose RestoreWorks because our unique capabilities were an ideal match for their projects.
Whether you are in the Chicagoland area or beyond, if your project calls for sensitive cleaning or restoration of a building envelope, let’s have a conversation to determine if we can help.
At RestoreWorks, we make buildings better by returning value and restoring pride.
To deliver on our mission, we have developed seven habits as principals to guide
our daily actions and drive success for our customers and ourselves.

I have always been intrigued with history. Restoration gives me the opportunity to observe how old buildings and structures were built and play a part in preservation so others in future generations can enjoy them as well.
I have been owner and president of RestoreWorks since 1988 and have had the opportunity to work on hundreds of important buildings and structures including Tribune Towers, Wrigley Building, The Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago’s Navy Pier, and the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu Hawaii.
