Established in 2004, Churchview Supportive Living Community has been offering affordable assisted lifestyle housing for adults aged 65 and above. In a city where the weather can be harsh on building exteriors, Churchview's property required some care after enduring twenty years of extreme temperatures.
To address this, Churchview enlisted General Contractor Toro Construction to manage the project, with RestoreWorks being brought on board specifically for the masonry restoration and repair aspects.
To ensure minimal disruption to tenants, RestoreWorks carried out all work from the exterior of the building, with a sidewalk canopy installed to allow for unobstructed access.
Churchview Project Scope
Throughout the three-month project RestoreWorks performed the following services to the property:
- Brick removal and replacement with color and texture matched brick
- Tuckpointing the top floor on the 5-story structure
- Replacing expansion joint caulking
- Restorative cleaning for all exterior masonry
- Rebuild brick masonry piers
